2024 Longleaf Cocktail Clash
We are very excited to announce that we are now accepting entries into our inaugural Longleaf Cocktail Clash competition. The event will highlight talented professional bartenders from across Georgia and invite them to craft the best Longleaf cocktail in the state using a featured Longleaf ingredient. The competition is free to enter and the winner will be crowned 2024 Clash Champion and inducted into the Order of the Pine.

how the competition works
Qualified professional bartenders from around Georgia will craft a cocktail using our award winning Alba Thistle Liqueur as a highlighted ingredient with any base spirits and mixers of their choice. Learn more about Alba by clicking here. Entrants will then submit the recipe and images of the cocktail via the online form below in order to register for the competition. Cocktail competition entries are open through Monday, July 8th. Please read the entirety of this page for the full submission requirements before submitting your cocktail!
From the initial pool of cocktail entries, 8 finalists will be chosen to represent 4 regions of Georgia (North, East, Middle, and South). Those finalists will be invited to our distillery in Macon for a fun day of events including a private tour with our Lead Distiller, lunch, spirit tasting, and Finalist Cocktail Competition. During the final competition to be held on Monday, July 29th, each Finalist will craft a custom cocktail using a Longleaf mystery ingredient to be judged by a panel of industry professionals. This mystery ingredient will be announced to all the semi finalists via email prior to the final competition.
Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The winning cocktails and recipes will also be publicized on our website and social media outlets.

Competitor Requirements:

Participants must currently work in the bar industry

Participant must work for a business location that can purchase from Prime Wine & Spirits.

Participant must be 21 years of age or older to enter.
Cocktail Entry Requirements:

The cocktail recipe must utilize a minimum of 1/2 oz. Alba Thistle Liqueur in the recipe

Participant must submit the full recipe including all ingredients, build instructions, and recipes for any hand-made elements utilized using the provided form below.

Once you submit your entry via the form below, you will receive an email from us confirming your participation and requesting your cocktail image and video.

Participant must include a high quality image and short video of the finished cocktail for promotional purposes. See image and video specs below. By entering recipes and media, the Participant agrees to allow Longleaf Distilling Co. the open use of that content for promotional purposes.

The Entrant must post the cocktail photograph or video as well as the cocktail description to the Instagram account of their employer while tagging @longleafdistillery in the image and using the hashtag #2024LongleafCocktailComp. The post may be published to any other social media outlets, but Instagram is required.

Photography Requirements:
A minimum of 1 image must be submitted of the cocktail being entered following these guidelines. See the example image as a visual guide. We require this to encourage visual continuity across all participant cocktails.

Background: Blurred, uncluttered, with no products/bottles. Natural background or solid color. Additional garnishes/props optional.

Lighting: Correct exposure with natural colors of cocktail visible. No filters or other heavy editing including heavy contrast.

Image must reflect all elements included in the submitted recipe.
Video Requirements:
A minimum of 1 video must be submitted of the cocktail being entered following these guidelines. See the example video below as a visual guide. The video is more free-form than the photo, but should largely focus on the cocktail rather than the Bartender or Company.

Background: Blurred, uncluttered, with no products/bottles. Natural background or solid color. Additional garnishes/props optional.
