Longleaf Vodka, Montpelier Orange Liqueur

Tart cranberry, bright lime, and a little orange sweetness make the Cosmopolitan more than just a pretty pink drink. Our version pairs Longleaf Vodka with house-made Montpelier Orange Liqueur for a crisp, citrusy cocktail worth shaking up for your next night in. Don’t skip the orange peel—it’s a small touch that makes a difference.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Longleaf Vodka

• 3/4 oz Montpelier Orange Liqueur

• 3/4 oz cranberry juice

• 1/2 oz lime juice

Garnish: Flamed orange coin

Glassware: Martini glass

Instructions

1. Add the Longleaf Vodka, Montpelier Orange Liqueur, cranberry juice, and lime juice to a cocktail shaker.

2. Add ice and shake until well chilled.

3. Strain into a martini glass.

4. Rub an orange coin around the rim, then flame its oils over the cocktail.

5. Discard the flamed peel and add a fresh orange coin for garnish, if desired.

   
   

Tip: No Montpelier on hand? Substitute another orange liqueur, such as dry curaçao or triple sec.
